Presence

Develop a presence on NCCU’s campus and initiate genuine life-giving relationships with students, staff, faculty, parents and partners.

Discipleship

Initiate and develop a life-giving discipleship plan to improve the quality of life on campus and NCCU’s larger community.

Leadership

Develop an aggressive leadership agenda/plan to raise up young spiritual leaders to address today’s pressing issues.

Bridge

Serve as a bridge to other churches to promote their collaborative work with NCCU students, their families, and faculty.

Collaborate

Collaborate with other faith communities to learn, understand, and value our differences to enhance and improve the spiritual life at NCCU.

NCCU Wesley Fellows and SD&D Team Leaders Charity Brown, Joshua McLaurin, Tia Evans and Bridget Pittman-Blackwell enjoyed a weekend Team Leadership Retreat of healing, leadership development activities, and reflection to prepare for the spring semester. Thank you to our special trainer, Minister Lauren Cunningham for being our awesome training instructor. A special thank you to NCCU Division of Student Affairs, NCCU Wesley and UMC General Board of Discipleship (GBOD) for funding this leadership retreat.
